Want to learn step-by-step how to mount a ring blade on a ring saw?
Despite a ring saw and a cut-off saw looking similar superficially with a spinning blade or disc, the two types of saw function in fundamentally different ways. While the cutting disc of a cut-off saw spins around a central axle, a driving wheel on the perimeter of the blade powers a ring blade. That is what gives the ring saw its unparalleled cutting depth of 300 mm on a Ø400 mm blade. But it also affects how the blade is mounted and tightened.
Mounting a ring blade is a 9-step process with adjustments along the way. That process can seem overly complicated without a simple guide. That's why we made this video. This tutorial goes through the entire process as a blade is mounted so you can follow along at your own pace.
